As the Westridge Middle School Tigers close out their fall season, winter sports are just beginning. As of November 13, the Middle School tennis A team is in the middle of its season, having started on October 16. They are going strong with two wins on the board. Unfortunately, they have also suffered two losses, one of which was a narrow two games shy of a win.
With the championships ahead, only the top four teams will qualify.
Emilia Borkowski, the tennis coach, believes they have potential. “They need to build on talent, and work on consistency,” she said. The tennis A team did make the playoffs and is now going to try to make their mark on Westridge athletics history.
